General Information
Through Southern Illinois Community Support Services, individuals are provided with the supports needed to live independently. We strive to gain awareness of the aspirations and feelings of the people we serve and assure that they are afforded the rights, privileges, opportunities and responsibilities accorded to all citizens through a funding source called CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangements).

Individuals are able to obtain their own apartments
and choose their services based on their own desires. Individuals receive assistance and supportive services that continue to meet their needs yet allow them to maintain their individual freedom.
Supports are provided to the least degree required for the individual to live as independently as possible. Community support specialists assist individuals in choosing services. Our goal is to provide a process
which enables individuals not only to live independently, but also to take control of their services and make choices.
Supports provided assure these individuals achieve many possible outcomes and the power to control their lives. Please follow the link below for more information.
